Buying From Us

We have ensured that our website operates under a secure server, which encrypts data which is sent over it.  You can check this by clicking the padlock icon on the top address bar.

We offer two main ways to pay.  First is from your existing PayPal account, and the second is by your credit card.  We use the reputable credit card processing service SumUp, to ensure efficient and safe transactions.  We as a company never get to see your credit card details, and as such don’t store them on our site.  We are simply notified of your payment once completed.

On your statements, please watch out for “Meadowgate Ltd” when paid using PayPal or “SumUp *libida.co.uk” when paid with your credit card.  .  SumUp is the reputable company we use to process card payments and Meadowgate Ltd is the parent company which trades under the name Libida and operates this site, libida.co.uk.

Delivery

Yes, our standard Royal Mail delivery is free, regardless of the quantity or cost of your items.  You can of course upgrade to different types of delivery if you wish and we only charge you the cost difference to us – we don’t make money on the delivery upgrades.

Delivery time depends upon the method you have chosen.  Our free delivery option is sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class postage, so should be with you in only a few days following your dispatch notification email.

Returns

We do offer a returns facility in line with statutory obligations and as clearly defined in our Terms and Conditions document which can be found here to read through.  Essentially, you will have 28 calendar days from the date your order is delivered to return items from your order. Items must be unworn, unwashed and in their original, re-saleable condition.  We can’t refund lingerie which has been

  • worn or where tags or labels have been damaged, tampered with or removed
  • hosiery, which has been worn or where any seal is broken
  • items purchased as part of a set, but which have been returned separately or as an incomplete set.

We are very conscious of both the impact a cycle of purchasing and returning is having on our environment and crucially upon the price point which is chargeable for an item so as to continue to provide good value for money.   Additionally, we do offer free standard delivery on all orders.  As such we do not offer free returns.  However, we do enable any return to be cost effective for you and have ensured our weight of products and size of packaging enables an economical return charge.  Items returned by you via Royal Mail 2nd Class post, in packaging less than 24 x 16.5 x 0.5cm, and a weight less than 100g incurs only a 68p charge to you, considerably less than some of our competitors who have also adopted this.

Your Account

Yes, you can create an account on the site which allows to to easily order from us, have a record of your orders in one place and change addresses where required.  It also enables us to send out exclusive member only offers from time-to-time and keep you informed with various info.  Don’t worry, we don’t spam you!   We do not offer any form of finance or other payment options as part of having an account with us.
